Through Applied Neuroscience™, Dr. Arredondo provides both direct service and telepsychiatry services. Based in the San Francisco, San Jose, and Silicon Valley area, Dr. Arredondo provides direct face-to-face treatment services, evaluations, consultations, and second (or third) opinions to those seeking expert clinical advice, medications, or psychotherapy for issues that cross clinical disciplines. He is formerly the medical director and director of clinical training of EMQ Children and Family Services—the largest non-profit in California, which serves children and families with mental health, educational, and other special needs. In this role, Dr. Arredondo supervised child psychiatry fellows (Stanford Med), law students (Stanford Law), psychologists (University of California San Francisco), social workers (San Jose State University), and MFCC (Marriage, Family and Child Counseler) candidates. He thus brings a wide breadth of perspective to issues of children’s emotional, academic, and social development. He is the founding director of the Office of Child Development, an affiliate of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, and Applied Neuroscience™—a cutting-edge small firm that applies recent advances in neuroscience to real-world problems, success, and growth.
Dr. Arredondo also conducts research reviews and clinical trials on a broad range of topics and provides evaluations, consultations, and training to families, professionals, and programs across the country.
