Telepsychiatry
A shortage of qualified psychiatrists (especially child psychiatrists) nationwide has dovetailed with new video technology to make psychiatric assessment and treatment a viable option in the here and now. Dr. Arredondo has experience with FaceTime, Skype, and WebEx as three modalities that work for this purpose. He is currently adopting other modalities as well.
